Predator - Prey

Predator prey was a fun game to play.  It is a game where you learn about animal habitats and food webs.

You also learn about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.  Both grade 4/5 classes participated together.

Every student was assigned to be one kind of animal.

If you had green tags, you were an herbivore and had to find food and water at stations in the forest and keep away from other animals.

If you were an omnivore, you had to wear a blue pinnie and find food and water at stations, and also catch a few herbivores.

If you were a carnivore you had to wear a red pinnie and find water at stations.  You had to get all your food by catching herbivores or omnivores and taking one of their “lives” or “babies”.

Adults and a few students with yellow vests were “humans” with the power to help animals or hunt them, or natural disasters / disease that could also kill animals (take a “life” card).
